Our Story

VanEllin is a wholesale and online bakery based in Annapolis, Maryland. Our products are sold in select specialty food stores across Maryland, direct to consumer online and we fulfill special and corporate orders. Born from a shared passion for delicious homemade food, this mother & daughter team joined forces to launch VanEllin.

Underwhelmed by the quality of baked goods in the marketplace, we created an artisanal food company that focuses on freshness and unique flavors over uniformity and mass production. Our mission is to elevate the marketplace with our high-quality custom style cookies, breads and snacks while bringing convenience to busy families.

Our recipes are greatly influenced by our European heritage and heirloom family recipes that have been passed down from one generation to the next. Driven by our mission to bring homemade, fresh, and unique tastes back to store-bought food, we are confident we will put the perfect cookie or delicious loaf of bread into the hands of our customers.

We take great pride in the fact that our products are not cookie-cutter (literally and figuratively)!
