VanEllin produces the product lines Candy Shop Cookies, Amazing Loaves (Focaccia), Snackatini & Rolls of Gold (coming soon). Our products are sold in select specialty food stores across Maryland, direct to consumer online and we fulfill special and corporate orders. We focus on freshness and ensure that custom artisanal qualities are maintained in each of our products.
Our baked products are the best baked gift to send to someone special or they are perfect for enjoying at home. Since we avoid using preservatives and other low-quality ingredients, our products have a shorter shelf-life than our competitors—and this is something we are proud of!
VanEllin’s cookies and breads appeal to those who are looking for quality and convenience, but who are not willing to sacrifice the delicious taste and quality of homemade food.
The Original Boutique Cookie
Our first client who gave us a shot was a candy shop, and thus was the inspiration for our cookie line name—Candy Shop Cookies. Our cookie varieties are unique in flavor and made from high-quality ingredients. Unless an unavoidable candy we use contains preservatives, most of our cookies are made with no preservatives. We use real fruit zests and juices, sophisticated extracts, top-notch butter, delicious chocolates and nuts, and occasionally some fun candies! Even though our cookies are petite, they are the best (and original) boutique cookie out there!
While our Candy Shop Cookies include a lot of unique seasonal flavors (did someone say Candy Corn?), we also produce traditional cookie varieties as well, of course using our own twist on the classics. One of our chocolate chip cookie varieties is infused with small batch bourbon and another is chock full of pecans. Our sugar cookies consist of competing sweet and sour flavors like key lime and lemon that will delight the taste buds.
Since our cookies are not packed with preservatives, we recommend consuming them within 6 weeks after purchase or freezing them in our freezer-friendly bags for optimal freshness.
